Non-interactive embedded dashboard
Embedded dashboards are great and the fact that I can share a filtered dashboard too but it would be nice if I can lock a filter and make the dashboard non-interactive. This way it would only be possible for the visitor to view that particular segment of the data that I have decided to give them access to and they would not be able view the rest of the stats.
I totally agree with that! I’d like to show only part of the stats in a public way! I don’t want to display everything!
It would be great to share with some local team like India, Japan or Germany just a country filtered dashboard. Looking ahead to that feature :)
@Franziska.raese thanks for the feedback! you can already share/embed a filtered dashboard, it’s just that they’ll be able to remove the filter and view the rest of the stats too. but i assume as you’re sending this internally within a company it’s not a big deal
This would be great. We can lock authors to their own content. We could also share client dashboards for content we post on them, so they don’t have to come to us all the time.
This would help also promote Plausible to new people ;)
When sharing your dashboard with external parties using shared links or the embed dashboard functionality, you can now choose to show only specific, filtered data, i.e., share only a segment of you stats.
Anyone opening such a shared link or viewing the embedded dashboard will only see that segment and won’t be able to remove it. They would be able to add more filters to drill down further, but they won’t be able to see any data outside the selected segment.
This makes it easy to share only the data you want with the right audience.
