For sites that use subdomains (app.domain.com, docs.domain.com…), it would be nice to be able to see the subdomain in the page path in the Top Pages report.
Currently you can filter your dashboard by hostname to segment the traffic (and the Top Pages report) by subdomain.
Related to this: You can now filter your traffic by hostname! This way you can get a global overview of traffic across all your hostnames as well as segment by a single subdomain all in the same Plausible dashboard. See more: https://plausible.io/docs/subdomain-hostname-filter
I was looking for exactly this, awesome!
Filtering is helpful, but seeing the subdomain in the Top Pages report (and related reports) would be important for us, too.
My own site (speaklanguages.com) uses separate a subdomain for different locales, and the paths to the site’s pages are localised for each locale. The fact that Plausible doesn’t take the subdomains into account in the “Pages” section of the report means that the “View page” links there are broken for my site as the paths only work in context of the subdomains to which they belong.
Also, when filtering by subdomain as mentioned in an earlier comment, the Plausible app appears to be reporting the traffic for the www subdomain as coming from the bare domain. It’s not really a safe assumption that the bare domain is identical to the www subdomain and it would be clearer in the report if it was listed in full just like the other subdomains rather than being given special treatment.
+1 for this. We have a few subdomains and at the moment the homepage is all aggregated into the one “/“ URL. I would like to see all of them, rather than need to filter individually
