Thank you for the fast response. We are actually in great need for that feature -> a time-based analysis of funnel performances

Current Situation

• We have implemented funnels to track primary purchases and credit card transactions from start to end.
• These funnels provide valuable data, but lack the capability to display the performance of these funnels over time.

Proposed Enhancement:

• Time-Based Funnel Analysis: The addition of a feature that allows us to view and analyse funnel performances over specific time frames (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.).
• This would enable us to track changes in customer behaviour, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions more effectively.

Example for Reference:

• PostHog’s Implementation: PostHog offers a robust model of this feature, where users can view funnel performance over time. This includes trends in conversion rates, drop-off points, and other crucial metrics.
• Their approach allows for more dynamic and temporal insights, which could be extremely beneficial for our platform, especially given our global and diverse user base.

Benefits:

• Enhanced understanding of customer journeys and purchase patterns over time.
• Ability to identify and respond to trends and anomalies quickly.
• Improved decision-making capabilities based on temporal data insights.

We really love Plausible for its clarity and simplicity, but as mentioned need that feature. Any chance you could implement such a request in the near time?

The funnel in the Plausible dashboard will reflect whatever time period you choose from the date picker. Or do you mean something different by this?

Reading the Posthog docs, I wasn’t able to spot any time-based features that we don’t offer in Plausible. Can you point me to some documentation or screenshots for what specifically you’re missing in Plausible vs Posthog?

how I understand and could see it, is that a 3rd dimension is added to the funnel, every bar you see in the funnel also goes in the 3rd dimension, which is time, so you can see e.g. the conversion rate of each funnel stage developing over time
