According to your FAQ, the Visitor Duration metric “only shows people who visit more than one page. For those who visit one page only we default to 0 seconds.”
Our sites include long single-page articles and other lengthy single pages listing information resources. Visitors are able to spend a good bit of time reading over those single pages yet apparently Plausible only counts them as 0 seconds. This is a huge flaw yielding a misleading underestimate of actual time spent on the site.
You also provide a separate metric of Time on Page. It strikes me that you could improve your Visit Duration metric by better incorporating your Time on Page data.
