I imported my website’s Google Analytics 4 data using Plausible’s automatic GA4 import, but because the data contains bot traffic like spikes of fake visits, the imported GA4 data didn’t look like the clean data that Plausible keeps.
So I exported the GA4 data, filtered out the bot traffic, and imported it using Plausible’s manual CSV import. And it worked well, and everything looks right in the dashboard except channels. When the GA4 data is imported automatically, the channels do show up in the dashboard, but when it’s imported manually with the CSV, they don’t, and the Channels tab just shows “(not set)” for every imported day.
Could Plausible’s manual CSV import also accept a channel column, so the imported days show Organic Search, Direct, Referral and so on, just like the automatic GA4 import does?
